The social sector is one of the most important sectors at European level, but strongly affected by changes such as demographic trends, economic crisis, population and labor migration.
Through the FOCUS project we aim to increase the number of organizations in the social sector capable of planning and conducting on-the-job training courses for professionals in the sector, who will develop the necessary skills at European level in the perspective of 2030.

European cooperation projects in the fields of education and training
We aim to increase the number of organizations in the social sector capable of planning and conducting on-the-job training courses for professionals in the sector, who will develop the necessary skills at European level in the perspective of 2030.
Based on consultation with key players (over 200 organizations in 4 countries), the project will develop an inventory of the skills for the future, as well as an innovative on-the-job training policy for social professionals in Europe. A training curriculum addressed to human resources managers within small and medium organizations in the field will be developed, tested and evaluated, with the involvement of 80 organizations in the social field.
